A carpenter’s daughter, Mohna Ansari, became Nepal’s first female Muslim graduate of Law from Mahendra Multiple College, Nepalgunj. Her brothers attending a better school or she dropping out of college for three years (lack of finance) did not stop Mohna from becoming the first graduate in her family. Her list of “first to” includes being the only woman in the National Human Right Commission of Nepal. #WomanCrushWednesday

  1. Hi Bukky 😀
I’ve been to N Nigeria on holidays from the UK from 1958 to 1964 many times when I was a kid. My father was in charge of building roads, schools etc. in Bauchi state, Maiduguri & Gombi. My mother ran the Bauchi guest house and the guest house at Yankari Game Reserve. They left because of the troubles after 22 years working there. I loved it as a kid.
    Have a lovely day 😀 ❤

    1. Hi Ralph. The northern part of Nigeria was very peaceful. You must have loved the people. I spent 3 nights at the Yankari Game Reserve in 2002. I live in Kano. Thank you for sharing this with me.

      1. It’s a shame that my mother died a few years ago as she would have loved to hear that Yankari is still going. I used to swim in the springs and even swam into the cave. I expect Kano is quite a city nowadays. Have a lovely weekend Bukky 😀
